Gigabit Ethernet Switch
The LDD-ES is a PC-104 form factor, 8 port gigabit Ethernet switch designed and developed by LDD Technology.
Several of our customers were asking for similar custom designs because they were unable to find suitable off-the-shelf products; to best meet those requirements we decided to develop our own product.
The board is designed using programmable FPGA technology which provides the possibility of a range of customisation which is not normally available with most designs which use dedicated devices with limited programmability.
We are able to offer an efficient and cost-effective customisation service should you require a design with a different number of ports or in a different form factor.
We can also offer the option of including the functionality of the Ethernet Switch into a larger design which may require Ethernet switching as part of the requirement with additional interfaces or processing being included in the FPGA as required.
